Refund Policy

Limelight Publishing provides publishing and editing services. Because we start working on your book as soon as you're booked in, refunds depend on how far the work has progressed when you ask.

Publishing packages

• Before we start work: full refund, less any payment processing fees. Work starts once we have your payment and your manuscript.
• After work has started, but before we send your first formatted draft or cover mockup: refund discussed (inmost cases 50%).
• After we've sent your first draft or cover mockup: no refund. We'll keep working with you until you're happy, including the unlimited layout revisions and cover mockups in your package.
• After your book is published: no refund.

Publish + Edit add-on

• Before editing begins: full refund, less any payment processing fees.
• Once editing has begun: no refund.

Other editing services
Full refund before work begins. After work begins, we refund the value of any work not yet completed, as agreed with you.

Retailer decisions
Amazon and other retailers make their own decisions about which books they list, and these are outside our control. Publishing fees aren't refundable if a retailer declines or removes a book. We'll work with you to fix and resubmit it where we can.
