Heidi Underwood is a Psychotherapist, Mindset Coach, Author, Founder of AKITU Pty Ltd, Speaker & Investor. Her passion and purpose in life is to support and empower people to live their best life, by working on mindset and creating healthy and helpful habits in their daily life. She believes that all people deserve to live a life of fulfilment, joy, love and happiness, and she will not stop her crusade to help as many people as possible, no matter what walk of life they are from. Heidi has a bachelor degree in Psychological Science and a Masters degree in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. She has also completed many additional trainings and experience in trauma, trauma informed practice, acceptance & commitment therapy, solution focussed therapy, trauma informed parenting, and business managament. Heidi is a wife, mother of three beautiful children, and mother to a whole bunch of rescue pets. She spends her free time with her family and pets, and loves the simplicity of the little things - a hot cup of tea, time outdoors, sunshine and fresh air. Her extensive international travel experiences have helped to shape her perspective of the world, with a focus on what makes people happy, content and fulfilled (and its much simpler than you think!) She has experienced her share of bumps in the road on this life journey, with many hurdles along the way, but a resilient mindset has been the key to her success.
